Use in landscaping projects
Sedum rupestre 'Angelina' is a succulent ground cover with golden-yellow, needle-like leaves that turn orange in autumn and winter. It is one of the most used plants for extensive green roofs, rock gardens, retaining walls, planters and sunny, low-maintenance public spaces.
Planting and spacing
Plant 9–12 plants per square metre. It needs full sun and a poor, very well-drained substrate; on green roofs a special substrate is used.
Care and maintenance
Once established it tolerates extreme drought and needs no fertiliser. Standing water is the only thing that can kill it. Broken pieces root easily, which helps fill gaps quickly.
