Planting and spacing
Plant 9–12 plants per square metre in full sun on poor, well-drained soils. It also adapts to the thin substrates used on roofs.
Care and maintenance
It is extremely frost-hardy (to about -30°C) and drought tolerant. It needs no fertiliser or pruning; after flowering, spent flower heads can be trimmed for a tidy look.
